I flew for central air a few years ago. It is a good place to work and a great place to build some good quality multi pic.

All the planes i flew were kept well and the twin commander is a joy to fly. The pay sucked . I would not go there as an SIC because there are no instruments in the right seat.

(also stay away from the owners daughter if she still works there)

PM me if you need more info.

Central

Starving,

I'm good friends with one of their pilots that I see every day in Arkansas. The pay does suck, $1500 a month for 6 months and after that it depends on the run but I don't think it goes up a lot. Seems like good maintenance on good planes, the Commander ain't sexy but it's got 2 motors!! They are a fairly small company with only about 25-28 pilots and I think they have only hired about 1 or 2 pilots in the last six months. Also, the website may say, but I think they require 1 or 200 hours of ME time as opposed to Airnet or Flight Express where there is no ME requirement except the rating. Anyway, should be an OK place to work if you can handle the pay. Like everyone else, there is not a lot of movement at all and if you can land the job, you'll have to move to wherever, USA. But at least you'll be flying!!!! Keep trying Airnet, I've heard they're hiring again. I put my resume in there as well. I'm about to claw my own eyes out waiting for a Baron here at Flight Express. Can u say 3000 hrs and no multi engine time???? *&%@$^&$#*$%$#!!!!!!!!!

Jeff

Airnet has too many pilots

Airnet isn't looking to hire squat. They might be interested in
developing a pool. They still have guys doing 1/2 shifts to keep them on. Until they get bussy again I would not touch them.
Give them a year or two and do not be naive in believing you will every touch the Lear. They pulled furloughed captains with heavy time for those and they will more than probably do it again.
; with the insurance being as high as it currently is.
