We have a company issued pager, but our own cell phones. We are reimbursed $20/mo for the phone.

$50/month cell allowance.

I have the verizon plan mentioned for $51-55ish. 250 text messages, insurance, however many anytime minutes (I do miss Cingular's Roll-Over minutes) and unlimited verizon and night/weekend calls.

I look at it as I pay $5/month for a pretty good cell phone plan. And that $5 is the insurance because I know I'm going to break the heck out of this Razr POS.

You submit it they pay it, up to about $80.00 is all I've tested. The only thing they got upset about was when I used the airplane's cell phone internationally for $60.00 of personal calls, I wrote them a check for that. The cell is a business expense so it costs what it costs in our department.

Company gives us a piece of junk Nextel phone which only works in half the places we go, if that, so we end up using our own phones alot anyways.
