PILOT / CAPTAIN

CHICAGO AREA
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide pilot services to the aircraft’s owner(s). Reporting directly to the Aircraft Manager, this position performs their duties ensuring that the aircraft and its staff meet and maintain DOT and FAA regulations.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
• Maintains good working relationships with Aircraft Manager and other Flight Operation and scheduling personnel.
• Responsible for maintaining availability.
• Assists in performing, coordinating or designating flight and record keeping activities.
• Ensures aircraft is ready and stocked prior to all trips.
• Performs job exercising responsible expense control including, but not limited to, road fuel, all travel and other operating expenses.
• Maintains and ensures that record keeping is complete, accurate and timely. Submits pilot duty logs monthly as due.
• Consistently performs all crew duties and activities.
REQUIREMENTS
• A current type rating and PIC qualified with a minimum of 3,000 total flight hours required.
--WILLING TO TYPE RIGHT CANDIDATE!!
• Previous experience in Part 91, 121, or 135 environments required.
• Must hold an ATP and 1st class medical.
• Must possess leadership qualities (such as a sense of fairness, desire and ability to promote teamwork, ability to mentor and develop staff, sense of humor, conflict resolution skills and the desire and ability to create and maintain positive working relationships).
• Excellent problem-solving and judgment capabilities.
• Must have a high energy level, a sense of urgency and the ability to deliver superior customer service.
• Must have proper command of the English language, possessing excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities.
