Which models of the Cessna Citation are 'included' with a CE500 type rating? I've heard a pilot can fly as many as 13 models of the Citation with this one type rating.

Thanks in advance; I'm getting a CE500 type in the next few months, and I'm not very knowledgeable in the Citation line of aircraft.

Don't know about the CJ's or Mustang but CE500 type qualifys you for 500, 501, 550 including the bravo, and 560.

True. The CE500 will work for the 500 through 560 (NOT 560XL)...Bravo, Encore, SII. The Mustang and the CJ's (525's) are a seperate rating.

And just to clarify what treetop was saying, it does not include the Excel. It's a separate type, CE-560XL.

Put another way, that means you can fly the I, II, V, Bravo, Ultra, and Encore.

User Rythm3 has an excellent summary of the Citation types in this thread.
