If anyone is interested there is one (and about to be two) openings for a charter/air ambulance at YIP. They greatly prefer someone already with the CE-500 type (I'll give you one guess why). But for someone that doesn't want to do a lot of flying and doesn't mind being on call and lives in the Willow Run area (within about 25 minutes or so) it could be a way to get some experience or fade off into retirement.

They need 1 or 2 Captains and 1 FO. I was paid 30K as FO and 44K as Captain, No benefits. You can have benefits but then figure about 4K less a year. All subject to how well you can negotiate. Yes they would much prefer you have the type, almost a requirement to get the captain job. FO... not needed but would move you to the top of the pile... don't expect much training, FO's do not go to sim just 1 or 2 flights in the plane then the checkride with the CP. Captain gets a 3 day recurrent sim course. (that's why they want you already typed... so they don't have to send you to the 2 week course) Not a terrible place but nothing to make a career of.
