Their 777s are powered by the Rolls Royce Trent 800 Series, probably 877s on the 200s and 892s on the 300s. The A-330s are powered by Rolls Royce Trent 700 series, specifically the RR Trent 772-60 at 77,100 pound of thrust. The A340-300s by CFM56-5C and the A340-600 by Rolls Royce Trent 500 series. Its a fair bet the 747s are Rolls Royce powered as well but I don't have any reference material on those. This info came from the 777 Airliner tech series and the A340 and A330 Jetliner History book.
Make sure you know the advantages of the wide chord fan blade used in the Trents. Probably not a good idea to discuss the rate of inflight shutdowns the Trents went through that led to suspension of ETOPS. If you really want to blow the interviewers mind ask him if they have solved the Metco 320 HPC1 rotor path lining wear problem that resulted in numerous hung starts on the Trent 800s.
