I am currently flying boxes and junk out West, but am wondering what operators..uh..well..operate out of the Orlando or the Honolulu area.
My wife has been offered positions in these areas and since she makes a buttload more than I will ever make, seems prudent to make the move. It won't be for awhile, but would like to know where to look. Thanks!

You might try Alpine Air ... they've recently picked up a USPS contract in Hawaii and I hear they're looking for pilots.

In Orlando, there are only a couple of freight operators that I know of. One is Flight Express, the other that has a plane or two based here at MCO is Mountain Air Cargo(Caravans for FDX). I don't know if those pilots are domiciled here or at an outstation. They may even have an F27 here.

I heard recently that one of the local charter operators is looking for guys for the Citations and Lears. I know of one guy they hired with no turbine or jet time. Southern Jet Center, based in Sanford.

Never heard of Air Classic...which FBO do they run out of? I don't make it to MCO much except to travel to and from work. I forgot about Capital....I rarely see any of their airplane there anymore. I wondered if they had gone out of business.

Not sure which FBO Air Classic operates out of. If I remember correctly, they fly Beech 18's and do work for one of the bigger cargo operators.

Cappy

Cappy is HDQT near MCO....the aircraft are stationed all over the country....call 407-812-1671

The fly an all B727 fleet, check them out first carefully some are happy, some not so happy ...

Kalitta Air operates between HNL and LAX Daily.

Airnet used to base pilots out or ORL in the Baron I believe. And Flight Express with the 210s was mentioned previously.
