Does anyone know of any safe 135 cargo in the Chicagoland area? Been here for a while and am not having much luck staying in the area. Any leads would be appreciated.

Ditto on Planemasters. I used to work for them (not at DPA though); they treated me well and the plane, whenever it broke, always got fixed.

any chance you know how/where they post openings? They don't have anything on the website. I actually live about 5 minutes from DPA so it would be perfect.

Go in and talk to the guys, if you live close it shouldnt be a big deal. When i worked the line in RFD they use to bring a king air to us for MX. All the pilots seemed cool so just show a face and see what happens. It would be worth if you get the job. They have a citation or two, same with the king air and quite a few Caravans. Good luck...

Yeah, I'd just pop in if I were there too. I got the job that I had by being in the right place at the right time (one of the Caravan freight runs). I think Todd D. is still in charge, and Bill C. is probably the CP still. They were good guys while I was there, and probably still are. ;)

Your not a Chicago Approach Controller by chance are you?

Ok. I had a Chicago controller asking the same thing about the same place about a month ago, so it made me wonder.
