lol, thank you Dr. Science...yes the F16 does indeed utilize a turbofan...although a low bypass version rather than the high bypass that we all know and love, blah-blah-blah, yada-yada-yada, etc.

i misquoted, but i guess thats what i get for trying to post after a 14 hour duty day, with 7.8 of them in the air

i was wanting to know what the other 2 aircraft designations were. im not familiar with BD-5J and the BD-10

Here is a photo of a BD-5 (lower) and a BD-10. I believe the -J designator stands for JET. Experimental (kit built) aircraft I'm sure.
