I got an offer to fly right seat in a Caravan which is for parachuting, and potentially getting into left seat. I figured I could not log any of the time in the right seat. I think I am correct about that. Just curious if flying a Caravan for parachuting is an advisable job. Does it look good in your logbook if you just fly up to 14,000 and come spiraling down and do it 4 times a day? Just wondering how ya'll think about it. thanks for all the replies.

I'd do it, but not for free. And yes, you can log the time if you are sole manipulator of the controls (and you have a HP endorsement) or if the other pilot is a CFI.

It would be a good start. An outstanding way to build time. My only advise: Keep up your instrument proficiency! Not currency, Proficiency!

Yes, you can log the time you actually manipulate the controls, and no, you don't have to have a HP endorsement, although I see that you do. I just didn't want that misinformation to carry on.
BTW, with all your HP and ME listings, I'm surprised to see you don't know about logging time.
