Saw them on the flight tracker at work comming out of CID. Just currious about the company. They where flying a C402, do they have anything else? Anyone have info on the company? Pay, QOL, what they do, where they are based...ect. Just looking for a potential job when the time comes. Thanks

The Cap City that I remember flew Navajos and Senecas in the upper Midwest, doing freight runs (bank checks). Last I heard (close to a year ago) they were paying $1800/month and had a 12-month commitment. It's also my understanding that their training is a little lax, which isn't really a good thing when preparing brand new pilots to fly in all weather in the upper midwest. Their main base is Pierre but they also have pilots based at outstations.

Stp

St. Paul, MN is an outstation for Capital City. They have C-402, (2) PA-31, PA-34, here.... I have a freight run that has a layover in STP with the charter company i fly for. Good Pilot group, I talk with them all the time... Training is lax & I have heard bad things about owner...

above is all correct.

I'm thinking that they are starting to feel the squeeze of check21 though. its been 4 years since I was part of that group, one thing I can say is I NEVER had an issue with maintenance. At the time they were very proactive on fixing the busted stuff.
