I don' know the hire requirments but the upgrade MINIMUMS are

2500 tt
1000 tubine
500 company

Doubt you will get upgraded with that but the new hires have to be less than that

The first year FO is about 38 - 39 K + perdiem

PCL_128,

We have not set hiring mins at Capital. In my new hire class a year ago the lowest time pilot was a former ACA First Officer with 2,800 hours total time. Since then the stats have gone up and down like a roller coaster. We don't post when we are hiring on our website. You need to fax a resume to the fax number listed on our site. It helps if someone walks your stuff in since there are so many people out of work. Here are our basic stats:

Aircraft: B-727 (we hire to the right seat)

Home base assigned (CCIA pays for your tickets to and from work)

Basically no reserve (we only hire for known flying, we have one hot standby line in TOL and the company pays for your hotel so no crashpad)

Pay: $50.64/hr with a 62 hour guarantee for first year

Per diem: $1.75/hr or $42 a day for math challenged. (the company has food at the hub so you usually pocket most of your per diem)

Health/dental: Pretty steep for a family plan at $500 a month but I've seen worse. Good coverage though.

Schedule: 16 days on rest of month off, you either work front half or back half of the month. We don't fly on weekends so some times you work less than 16 days.

Upgrade: It varies. When I got hired my sim partner was a Captain upgrade at 15 months. Now it's running about 2-3 years.

All in all a good place. Of course it is night freight and if you haven't flown night freight then you're in for a rude awakening.

Good Luck,

I've been at Capital for about a year. No complaints. 16 days can get kind of long but two weeks off is a long time too.

Plus, the 727 FO position is like early retirement...

I'll have you know that I have to turn on the pitot heat and transponder. That can get tiring on the same fingers. (TIC)
