I'll give you the basics that I know of;
Salaries-You're paid by the duty hour. I can't remember what the starting pay is, somewhere around $13.50 an hour maybe. Expect to make 30k your first year and if you go to the caribbean in the winter and work some OT you can easily make over 40k. My roomie made 48k his 2nd year there.
Scheds-Bidable just like everywhere else. Mostly 4-5 days straight. Tough to get a Boston line but a friend had reserve there within a few months at the company. Alot of pilots go to Florida or the caribbean in the winter.
Bases-hmmm, just about all of the places they fly to up north although the islands and p-town only have a couple pilots based there. Most in Boston and Hyannis.
The pilots fly alot of hard IFR single pilot. Can have a whole day with 12 approaches to minimums all by your lonesome. A very good group of people to work with. PM me if you want any more info or thoughts.
Mr. I.
You'll fly a 402C, but they are very well maintained. It's not for everyone, but most who have worked at Cape Air have loved it and count it amongst their favorite jobs they've ever had. Regards.......CE402
