The last posts are over a year ago... Any word on how things are going for Cape Air in GUM? Are they hiring into the ATR? Upgrade times? QOL?

Thanks!

They do hire sporadically for the ATR, typically at the very last minute when they realize they need a warm body or two. Partially this is because they first post the openings to the current 402 pilots, then hire to fill the rest of the class. If you are interested your best bet is to get your stuff into the hiring department now rather than wait for them to post an opening.

Upgrade times are anybody's guess. 402 pilots and ATR pilots are on the same seniority list, with all that that implies. Probably more than 1 and less than 3 years. QOL is decent, home every night, plenty of travel opportunities in Asia, although the FO pay definitely makes you a "budget traveller". Don't plan on commuting back to the states. If you have a significant other they will probably hate Guam and resent you for dragging them out there. The operation seems stable and profitable although I know of no plans for expansion.
