...ok people, if youll notice up in the right hand corner of your screen there is a row of blue "buttons" to click. from left to right they read HOME, USER CP, CALENDER, MEMBERS, SEARCH, FAQ, REGISTER,and LOG OUT.

if you just have a general question about something that more than likely has been covered about a million times before, try out the SEARCH feature.

simply move your cursor via the mouse (or mental telepathy if you have that option installed) and click it once over the SEARCH button. you will know you are in line with the search button when the little arrow turns into a little hand. its a real handy device that will allow you to type the keyword of what your wanting to know, and you will see EVERY post within the section you are searching that has used that word. more often than not, you can simply scan the thread titles and see if its along the lines of what you are looking for.

i hope this info is of some use, and clears things up for a few.

***authors note*** this info is not intentionally directed at any particular user. its just that the overabundance of general questions about things/places/airplanes/companies that have been hashed and rehashed about 10 trillion times is getting old. please do not take anything the author says for face value.

the information contained within is not considered reliable, factual or necessary. side effects may include loss of bladder control, slight internal bleeding, declining sex drive, mild myopia, and occasional involuntary twitching of several nerve functions at once. do not leave in direct sunlight, use contents within 7 days of opening, shake well before using, apply sticky side down, your mileage may vary.

lol...touche

OK, Pet Peeves...

Re-read your Post before hitting the Submit button. Make sure it makes some sort of sense. Also if you suck at spelling, copy your post into Microsoft Word (or even Outlook Express) and run a spell check.

Please!

Hoooo Haaaa!

another one of my favorites is when people click the "new thread" button instead of "post reply." then you get a new thread saying nothing but "i agree with starvingcfi." haha. those are great. :p

...not that anyone ever agrees with me.

Ok, but after 15 years in the computer world.. you would think I would be able to figure out how to make the search function do a phrase search, instead of a boolean AND search

what am I missing?
