No biggie, the cat is out of the bag anyway.

VOTED IN FAVOR!

From who?

Skywest and ASA management probably. That proposal kills ASA's demand for pay cuts!

Go to airline pilot central.com and go to there forums. It is posted there and I have to say it is a big step in the right direction.

However...

It wasn't the Company that asked to keep it quiet; it was a SAPA person using the SWOL group message function. I see a distinction there...

That's what I meant. Either way people bitch because SAPA doesn't keep us informed then when they finally do tell us something and ask us to keep it quiet it gets plastered all over the internet. No wonder they don't tell us anything

I could be wrong but I don't think that was an offer from the company. It was a proposal that SAPA was rumored to have been making to the company. As far as I know, nothing's been offered.

Unfrickenbelievable!!!!!!!!! If that gets approved then you can bet ASA will grind to a halt quicker than you can say Unfrickenbelievable!!!!!!!!!

That's exactly right. This was only a proposal made by SAPA. They are asking for a lot and I personally think we will get nothing close to this if we get a raise at all. So I think everyone can extract the panties that are all wrapped around their junk and take a deep breath.

Good luck

At least it sounds like your SAPA reps at least asking for what alot of the pilots want.

Our SAMA rep RS, won't even listen to us mechanics in regards to our "negotiations", if you can call them that. Good luck to you guys. See you on the line.

Well you know what? If SAPA was a real union, and you had real negotiations, all of this would be happening behind closed doors, with lawyers and negotiators who have experience in negotiating, not on the Internet! You get what you pay for.

Good luck with the raise now that management knows this got out. Get a union!

We see ASA is getting what they paid for with ALPA!!!! What are we on, something like four years and no new contract?
I doubt ASA will see any retro pay either!

Seems SkyWest can try and get the same thing WITHOUT 2% dues....

Have they actually gotten anything yet? Will they?

Get of the internet and go get my release biatch. Friggen dispatcher. Take a 6 week course and you have all the answers. How about we bet my paycheck against yours that they don't get anything close to the proposal.

Okay.....Now sit down in that right seat, keep your mouth shut unless we get a radio call, and make sure not to screw up!

Uh huh, I'm a newhire FO. Search my posts, dispatch boy.

Quit telling the pilot "picking his way through" that you're on the landline... the internet doesn't count. Back to work!
