Can I get pilot name/address from certificate number?

My first logbook is somewhat destoryed and one of the things I'm missing is my multi-engine training. I can read the guys certificate number but not his name. The FSDO dumps me into a voice mail box that doesn't even have a name when I call and so I wonder if I will ever get a call back. Is there a way to find this online?
