A lot of people go Private, Instrument, Commercial, Multi-add on, CFI, CFII, MEI, ATP

Some might get their CFI before the multi.

I was wondering, for cheapest way to go, if you could go:

Private, Instrument, Commercial (all single engine) and CFI.

Then, my question, how common is it for FBOs to let you take your multi, MEI, CFII and ATP for cheaper/or even free, given that you work for them, maybe extra hours or something...

basically, can CFIs can deals on further advanced ratings...

FSI gives students in their program free CFII and MEI once they get hired as instructors. The FBO I trained at hired me with only a CFI, and then gave me a discount on the aircraft for CFII and MEI. Also, consider doing the CFII and MEI combined in the twin, and then doing both checkrides at the same time. Saves a little on aircraft rental and checkride fees.

Airman flight school

airman flight school is the cheapest place that I have seen to get it done CFI, CFII. 2-3 weeks tops $5000 guarenteed. you get your CFII part 141 and then CFI part 61. training is alright but it's alot of studying on your own so that you are prepared to teach when you land that instructing job.. I went there just for the instructor ratings and that is all I would recommend getting there.
