Maybe this ought to be in the Corporate section, but it certainly won't hurt having it in the Majors.
The crew of the Legacy business jet that had the mid-air in Brazil in 2006 are on trial now--in abstentia.
If these men are convicted and extradited to Brazil (US has an extradition treaty with them) I call on all part 121 pilots across the USA, to REFUSE TO FLY to Brazil until this is tossed out.
Thats the only way they will take this seriously is when they are hit in the wallet when no US airline flies to Brazil.
And the courts have ruled that a strike or other SOS directly related to a safety issuse is NOT covered under the RLA and therefore permissible---so none of you will be able to hide behind the RLA.
We'll see who has balls and who doesn't if and when these guys are convicted in this kangaroo court.
