How do you calculate VDP?

Dude,

Just follow this simple formula: Take your GS and divide by ten. Then take that number and add the HAT/ HAA converted to meters. Subtract the temperature at the airfield in centigrade. Now take out the E6B and compute a crosswind vector for drift...almost done...now ask yourself...what kind of plane am I flying ? If smaller than a light twin or jet...don't worry about it....
Good luck
