So, I can't log on and I just got an email saying that its been closed. Figures ALPA would close a good source of information, and a way to ask and answer questions. Thanks ALPA! Your earning the 2% more and more each day! Can't wait to see what kind of crappy TA you vote to send out to the rank and file.

The crackpipe sucks. I'm not going back there. This had potential, but as was the case w/ calforums, a couple of schmucks ruined it for everybody else.

Isn't that always the case? The vocal minority, kinda like politics.

It's just sad that they caved to a couple of nutty trolls and let them bring the whole thing down. Though they did make up for about 80% of the posts spewing their typical trash because of their hurt feelings (probably since nobody wants them in the union), people really didn't listen. IMO shutting it down empowers the trolls and makes it harder to keep the rest of us informed.

That explains why SFR is back on here.

CAL Crewroom was handicapped by not being able to ban who they wanted to. I agree that they caved to a couple of trolls who were lately trying to stir up crap with Pierce. Very disappointing.

I'm not going back to CALforums either. The owner there is a jerk and a troll himself with grudges against half the union. The guy keeps jacking up the price every year for something he claims is for "pilot unity" all the while he pockets tens of thousands of dollars from Continental pilots. Shameful.

Good ol' flightinfo is here though. At least these guys know how to run a forum.

Will not pay to go to the crackpipe. Owner is a tool that won't follow is own policies. The trolls killed what could of been a great thing. Not a ALPA lover by any means but I would like to have an avenue to talk on a open forum and get some feedback. Guess it's dead.

Back to life...

Ironically my crackpipe renewal came up yesterday morning. I decided MB is definitely not worth 25 bucks anymore. Was counting on the new ALPA board to give some semblance of info, but like you guys said WOW the trolls. Really have to wonder what kind of life outside of this job JR and VS really have.

Very true and both were blocked on my account but still it was a good source for information and a place to ask some questions. My crackpipe subscription ran out well over a year ago and I have not or will not renew it. Especially for $25.00. I don't think its anything more then profiteering. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to hope that CALALPA learns how to communicate better.

It's 25 now? I dumped it last year when it was still 13. What about airlinepilotforums? They have a section just for CAL/UAL merger info/questions.

This just means we all have to do a better job with keeping CAL/UAL info updated on the FI. I'll try to do my part. Still no system bid. Just keep waiting.

What shares? Most dumped all they had before the merger announcement.
