Need some help guys and gals. Compensation talks this week and I need some info. Please post ballpark numbers, you don't have to be exact, of pay, days flying, extra duties, mileage or gas allowance, etc. for those of you who are flying Cessna 300/400 or Piper 31's. Please also post what location of the country you are in.

Thanks.

$37,000 (first year) working five days a week, normally flying three days a week, part 91 (one plane two pilot operation flying is single pilot), no gas allowance unless you use the car for company use, mid atlantic region, and maybe two RON's a year, most trips under 100 miles. Other duties include washing the aircraft and doing the Jepps on the days you don't fly. And it's a Navajo.

Hope that helps.

When I am needed and available, I fly a C310 out of PHL for a friend. Pay is $250.00/day plus meals, etc. Most trips are only a few hours long, including wait time.

Location, location...

I work in PTK. $400/day for piston, $500 for turbine. No offense, but 250/day was in the '80's in this area. I do negotiate the price down for very short trips, but that's rare. Good luck!
