bout 1000nm. Thier is a mod that ups your max weight to 14,500. Giving you an extra 1,000 lbs to play with.

roughly 4hours

1st hour i use 1600lbs every hour after 1100-1200

the rest of the info you are asking i dont have numbers for.

Good luck

A 550 carries 5K of fuel if I recall. Good for easily 4:30 + reserve. You can easily go 1300 nm in a 550.

Later models had a GW up to 14,300 or so. Bronson has a mod for a 14,700.

In either case, do NOT plan to operate a 550 with the 13,300 mtow. With a bow of 8300 lbs, you can do your own math to see how much you can put in it if you top it off for a long flight.

Thanks again ultrarunner and hung start. Thats great info.

Apparently enough for my boss to figure out that he wants to stay t-prop for now. I have a 91 gig and we dont make 1000nm trips enough for him to justify the costs.

If you run it up in the higher 30's you can do 1200 the first hour and 1000 for each after. you can really stretch it if you keep going up to 41 or 43, fuel flow can get to 700/hr up there. It doesn't feel right up there though. It lives best from 35-39 for the best compromise in fuel burn/vs speed.
