Hi All,

Just wondering if anybody knows a good place (not too expensive) in the US where I can do some C-208 Caravan training - either a full course or individual hours.

I have my US and JAR ATPL and live in Europe but the training over here is just too expensive.

Many thanks.

Buy a manual off ebay, and read it. It's a big Cessna that was inspired by God for the sake of Skydivers (A big Thank You, Lord). I don't know of anyone offering type specific training, and truthfully, it's not really necessary. It's covered by employers who hire into the airplane, but otherwise, it's more of a checkout than anything. It's not what one would call a really complex aircraft.

Flight Safety but you will only fly the sim.

Avbug is correct, it is just a big 172

I'd say it lands more like a 182 or the other 200 Series airplanes, but has the complexity of a 1961 Fastback 150. (Oh don't I wish the van had johnson bar flaps!!)
