This position supports tasking at the Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, VX-30 in Pt. Mugu, CA. A Bachelors degree is required, technical discipline desired. A Masters degree is desired. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2000 hours in the C-130 type of aircraft with 500 hrs as an Instructor, aerial refueling experience desired. Applicant must be a prior qualified C-130 Instructor, able to support flight test, flight test support, logistics, and post maintenance check flying. Candidate must have instructional experience for designation as a flight crew check pilot and a Type/Model/Series Instructor. It is desired that the applicant have the ability to direct aircraft operations planning, scheduling, execution and reporting in support of collateral tasks within the customer flight program. Applicant is desired to have instructor pilot experience. Selected candidate must be able to pass the FAA and U.S. Navy physical and qualification requirements to provide contract aircrew support. Travel will be required. Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
