I remember a while back seeing a show on the Discovery/TLC/Wings, take your pick, channel about a website where you could actually purchase a ticket on a corporate jet.
If the site's even still around is it reliable? With my experience around corporate jets it seemed like sometimes the pilots didn't even know where they were going next. Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

IIRC, they (Indigo?) went bust. That business model may return in another form, but will need to be done on a much larger scale to have much chance of success. The scale of economy must match with the cost of operation and ticket value in order to ensure profitable load factors when operating a low capacity aircraft such as a bizjet on a per-seat basis.

This is why limos don't typically offer scheduled cross-town service in competition with the city bus. DayJet proposes to become the yellow cab of the sky by using Eclipse jets as shared cabs and create a new aviation niche market. We'll see how they do.

Best,
