The Brazilian aviation industry is really hurting, just as it is in the USA. In the last 6 months or so, Trans Brasil, a major airline there flying 767s and 737s went bankrupt and shut down completely and TAM, the second largest airline in the country after Varig announced that it's going to park 50 Fokker 100s. This has left a lot of pilots out of work and flying jobs there are very scarce.
There will surely be some general aviation / corporate / charter type jobs available, but without fluent Portuguese, a Brazilian commercial license, and the right to live and work in Brazil, I can't imagine there's any chance of getting one.
Sorry for the bad news.
