Minimum requirements are the posession of a FAA commercial multi-engine/IFR rated pilot license and a second class medical. Previous turbine experience is desireable but not required. This position requires that the candidate pay $3,500.00 for ground school, flight training and a SA227 check ride. This amount is refundable upom completion of 800 hours or one year with the company, whichever occurs first.

Please indicatein your cover letter that you understand that this position is a "NO SALARY" position.

But wait! Thats like... 800 hours of multi time! FOR FREE!!!

Just kidding. I prefer to actually live under a roof and eat food inbetween flying.

The sad thing is that some low life will take this "job". The company knows it; that's why they've proposed these conditions.

Not just two engines... but two engines with TURBINES!!! And all you have to do is be an idiot in the right seat! Sign me up baby!

there will be people lined up out the door with daddy's money for this job

don't blame Air One....if American Airlines CEO could get people to willingly pay for 757 types he would

blame the pilots who are willing to stoop so low to do this

Good luck with that.

Anyone got the number to this outfit?

also, do you know if I'm allowed to wear a uniform too? Wouldthey mind if I wore one anyway?

What about all the 500 hour guys from gulfstream who still don't have the minimums to go anywhere else?

Not bad for a multiengine time-builder. 800 hours free beats renting a Seminole for $150 an hour.

I'd be kind of worried about them closing down the day after paying them the 3500, though.

Not to play devil's advocate but could it possibly be NO SALARY and be paid per/flight hour?

But at least in the Seminole you're pic, you make the decisions, you stay ahead of the acft. In the sa227 you'll be pulling the gear lever when the real pilot tells you to.

The get really angry and start cussing when you call and tell them that you wanted to do them a favor and let them know there is a misprint in the ad they posted because it says no salary. What sets them off is when you start laughing really loud into the phone when they say that is not a misprint. Whatever they say after that just start laughing louder so they can't talk over you and they'll start cussing and just hang up on you. Wonder if they need another call.

Someone should send this to a local news station for one ofthose "shame on you" segments where they reveal shady business practices.
