I am looking for anyone who works at Boston-Maine to PM me about Scheds and quality of life stuff as well as what you think the future may hold. I have been offered a street captain job in the j31 and no I do not plan on touching the 727 out of respect to my fellow ALPA brothers and sisters. Let the flames begin and thanks in advance to anyone who provides some good info.

By the way, what's become of that 727 thing down there ? A lot of talk...then nothing. Did the legal issues get resolved or just driven out of view ?

Why do I care about QOL? you are joking right?

Legal issues resolved - Pilots lost, company won, but the victory was short-lived.

They had a bunch of people in class for the 727, then lost their two most lucrative charter contracts and sent all of them home (furlough) just after finishing indoc and systems (prior to sims).

No word on when or if they would get back up and running anytime soon (other than the three aircraft they were already flying).

Serves the co*ksuckers right... (meaning management). Tried to screw a brutha' over and got hosed in the process.

Always good to hear the truth from you lear, hows PCL treating you. I guess I was over qualified when I went down there. They just argued with me about erj ops to the point where I asked if I could stop waisting my time there and leave.

Doubt they're hiring anytime soon. Like I said, they just furloughed the last class before they got to sims,,, that was last week.

PCL is still PCL. Schedules are the worst I've ever seen them (and hope they don't get even worse than now), but I'm getting 13 - 14 days off with weekends and since I'm flying 90+ hours a month, the paycheck is actually starting to leave some money to start enjoying some cruises and still save for the strike fund, so it's not all bad.

Sorry to hear about your interview - it's fairly screwed up down there on "Noncaring" Blvd. ;)

I don't know whats up, but they told me I would be in class soon. I took that to be july or august.
