Pay and QOL?

I would guess the pay is dog poop and QOL is probably just like getting a poke in the eye with a sharp stick..... dipped in Hot sauce!!!!

U.S. DOT ready to pull Boston-Maine’s license to fly

Way to go ALPA. Talk about trying to fry the small fish. And fighting a 3 year old battle against a defunct airline? Meanwhile important issues like Age 65, cabotage, and mainline vs. regionals (scope) are still tearing the union apart. But vindictively shutting down BMA is really important!

what a dump

That place has been a dump since day 1.

Union busting d-bag management that thinks throwing money at a problem will fix it.

It is about time something got done about that accident waiting to happen s%^t bag joint. It should have been shut down years ago.

Fink can go to He!!. Screwed a lot of good people because he's greedy ego-maniac.

Took the Pan Am name and crapped all over it, he should be ashamed of himself.

there's clearly no winning with you. this battle had everything to do with mainline vs. regionals (scope), and lettings these crooks get away with what they did would have been wrong on every level possible. for the record, this airline is not yet defunct, and, if not for the efforts of many people, would be happily flying 727s with alter ego labor while the RIGHTFUL pilots (by RLA and collectively bargained agreement) were left with nothing. kudos to ALPA for standing up for their Pan Am members.

rptrain, well said. It has to do with scope clauses and alter-ego airlines. Pilots with stars in their eyes blinded with being senior, top of the list, capt from day one types, learn from this. Hosing those before you and helping scumbags like B&M reach their objective (although shortlived) does no one any favors.
Nothing prevents any airline from doing what these dorks did. It may look like a major, legacy or regional airline, but don't forget to check the small print usually found on the nosegear door as to who the real operator is.

Mkingmei, were you a scheduler there once upon a time? If so, hope you are doing well. Glad you got out when you could, kudos.

Once upon a time, long ago I was indeed a scheduler there. I have since moved on to bigger better things in the ATL. One of the best moves I ever made was to get out before it really hit the wall there.
Thanks for asking
