The people at Bose are not that helpful I'm surprised. This question is for the people that ordered directly from Bose.

For the 'Aviation Headset X battery powered 2 plug', did you need to order the "Straight-cord dual plug cable for $195." in addition to the headset, for it to work in your aircraft??
