The latest Mesa interview gouge posted here:
http://www.aviationinterviews.com/pilotgougedisplay.php3?company=mesa
is strange. It was posted on January 11, 2006 for an interview that took place on January 09, 2006 and the poster claims "I was told that I was the first interview since the summer time". But there are many gouges right below this one that show numerous interviews and hirings at Mesa in that time period. The poster also claims that s/he was assigned to the CRJ, but Mesa doesn't reveal aircraft assignments until the first week of groundschool, and the poster claims a February 22, 2006 training date.
It really looks like this gouge is fabricated. If it isn't, perhaps the poster will read this and offer an explanation for the conflicting information. Isn't it bad enough that we have to deal with the many problems in the current state of the regional airline industry without having one of our own poisoning an extremely valuable hiring information resource with false information?
