Every time I need something I look for the great wisdom in the skys. Dose anyone know where I can get (other then higherpower)a B-727 type. If you do, could you leave me a name and phone number.

I don't know for sure if it's available for public use or just for Champion but Pan Am MSP has a 727 sim. Try calling there.

In the post 911 world, just buying a type is going to be hard. I think there are some fairly stringent rules as to who can/cannot do that.

Come On Man, Give Me A Break!!!!!!!! If You Don't Know Just Say So, Or For That Fact, Just Say Nothing.

36th street

Anywhere on 36th st, miami

Pan Am, Alteon, Aeroservice, Sim center. All of which except Alteon are on the shaddy side though, but then again most aviation training facilities are especially if your going in on your own. Why the 727, theres alot of us 727 drivers that have or are getting laid off with the who Emery/menlo/ups thing this month....

Well I have time as an F/O, and I figured I could get on with someone if I had a type as an F/O again

SIC type

Did you get the SIC type? It might serve the same purpose as far as the resume goes. Thats all I have.
Theres no test involved, just take you training records and last PC check to the local FAA office, prefereably one that deals with some 121 carriers. They print it right up there, its a type rating with a limitation sic only. As far as making your resume standout that might help as much as the real type with no pic time. That being said if the unemployment dept is paying for the type go for it.

I got mine done at Aeroservice with mixed feelings.

Had alright Ground Instructor, then a terrible Sim Ins, where we had to complain to either get money back or fix the problem.

They started the Sim sessions over, from the beginning, giving us an excellent and experienced Instructor which made the whole thing a fun experience.

Flying now 727 Cargo in Asia, which is great to get my turbine time.
