It is with mixed emotions that I share with you my decision to retire as president of ASA effective such
time that a new president can be selected. This decision was not an easy one for me to make, but one
that will allow me to spend more time with my family.
I came to ASA eight years ago when we began experiencing unprecedented growth and I witnessed time
and again the unwavering dedication and pride of the ASA people in every aspect of our operation. Since
then, we’ve met and overcome countless challenges together, with our pride serving as our perpetual
cornerstone of support.
Now is the time for greatness – not just because we want it, but because it is necessary – and it is within
our grasp. With operational performance serving as the ruler against which every commercial airline in
America is measured, I am confident that a new leader with a strong set of strategic tools will be selected
who can nurture this airline, your airline, in efforts to quickly enhance its greatness and realize our vision
of becoming the most trusted and respected regional carrier.
In the meantime, until an appropriate replacement is named, I will remain at ASA and retain responsibility
for the day-to-day operation of our airline. Over the past several weeks we have seen our performance
soar to new heights thanks to the efforts of ASA people systemwide, and I know I can count on each of
you to continue providing that same level of support and commitment moving forward.
Finally, if there is one thing I am certain of, it is that the future of ASA is bright. The ASA team is a
collection of extraordinary aviation professionals who are experienced, passionate, and equipped for any
challenges that may lie ahead. I want to express my sincere thanks to all of you for affording me the
opportunity to work alongside you – it has been a fun ride. I am so proud to have been able to call myself
an ASA employee and will rely on my experiences here to guide me for years to come.
Thank you for what you continue to do every day for ASA and for what you have always done for each
other.

Bryan

ASA's future is bright? Sounds to me like a rat leaving a sinking ship.

"Spend more time with my family"

Now if anything says "I had my sorry ass fired", that is it. Long predicted, long overdue.

I wonder how long the drive is from SLC to ATL for our new president?

AWWW I am so happy that:
Pile of Steaming Dog Cra* has a good time with his family. I wonder what he will get for "Retiring". 2 million perhaps. Huh, I would love to know.
Good riddens, what a waste of human sperm.

I would say right after the successor is named.....probably around the first or second week of December.....expect Tutt to retire. He's getting older anyway and last I talked to him....he was ready.

Good,
Just another waste of sperm at ASA. Don't let the door hit his a$$ on the way out.

I vote for Fred Farnell
HAAA there is a great waste of wisdom

So Long Dirtbag! Don't let the door hit you in the @ss when you leave! (And don't mind all the noise, that's your employees celebrating your departure!)

Trojan

So long Lyin' LaPuke.

Just when I thought nobody could screw up the company worse than Skip, you came along. I hope you have an extremely boring retirement and suck at golf. You are a scum bag loser. We laughed at all of your cheesy pictures on ourasa standing next to airplanes (since we all know you never came to the line) and your ridiculous drivel you called "leadership updates". Only you could say you weren't really lying, because you really didn't know what the hell was going on. You were the most under qualified CEO in the history of aviation. I hope all of your useless, asinine lackeys soon join you.

Good bye and good riddance!

Love, John Pennekamp
(and everyone knows who I am, ask around).

Yeah, all those dedicated people you drove away with all of you piss poor decisions. I don't know one person that is at ASA or is at ASA that thinks much of the place or mgt.

Fired!!! That is what I think.

Do you clowns think things are going to get better if BL leaves? Well then ask yourself this: did things really improve when George and John left, did things improve when DL bought ASA, how about when Skip left, or when Skywest bought ASA? You're just going to get a new round of the latest management moron who wants to come up with a lot of BS about "team synergies" or some such crap for a few years until he can take more money than you are ever going to see in your life and go "pursue new opportuities" and "have more time to spend with my family"!

Will we be getting a new Vision card?

To answer your question, things are much better now than they were under G&J..... I expect things to get even better when Skywest gets more involved....

This was one of the reasons I wanted to get this contract done.... The firehose was being held back until the contract was settled..... That is management 101..... Expect things to get better now....
