I'm not a great flyer. In fact, i've only been a few times. But flying as a whole interests me, and I've started a project for school on leasing. I was wondering if it's possible for me to get some historical data for lease rates of turboprops? I've tried really hard to get some online, but it seems impossible. (Can't afford to pay ludicrous sums to websites.)
I'm looking specifically at 30-50 seater turboprops: the Saab 340s and 2000, and the dash 8 mostly. Is there any way I can get some average rates for leasing of these over history? I thought it'd be quite interesting to see how events influenced the rates - e.g. Saab stop manufacturing, or the many transactions of the dash.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks.
