Job Description
The Pilot is responsible for the safe conduct of flights to which he/she is assigned. Serves as final authority in the operations of the aircraft. Must ensure compliance with all DoD, FAR, AR, Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as the policies and procedures specified in the company operations manual. Pilots are highly visible to passengers and must act with tact and decorum while ensuring safe and efficient flight. Must have Airline Transport Pilot license with multi-engine rating and type rated in the appropriate aircraft (Fairchild SA 226 AT). Must possess a valid Annual First Class Medical Certificate; Min 5,000 hrs. of certified pilot experience; Min 1,000 hrs. as Pilot in Command of the category and class of aircraft to be flown or higher; Min 1,500 hrs. of turbo prop or jet time; Min. 500 hrs. of instrument flight experience, at least 250 hrs. of which must have been under actual IFR conditions. Excellent interpersonal skills required.
