Biddin a/c for Netjets newhires

Just a question. Do you bid a/c when you get hired or do they assign you one? Also, does the pay differ for newhires in certain a/c? The apc.com website states different pay for larger a/c.

New hires are asigned aircraft when they are offered a class date. If you want a specific aircraft you can ask them, but they may not offer it to you or you may have to wait.

The only aircraft available to newhires that pays a higher rate is the XL/XLS fleet. It pays about $220 per month more than other aircraft.

Yet another question. After you email your resume, what is the process after that? Do you get a response within a few days, or does the application just come in the mail?
