Words cannot describe how many ways we got screwed. If you ever use a moving company, make sure you do EXTENSIVE research on them!!!

The company is known as:
AY Transport
(aka) National Moving Network

www.aytransportscam.com

Charged $1300 more than told;
Was told 7-10 days, ended up being 17;
They are sitting outside right now, because they will not take a PERSONAL money order, only a POSTAL money order. (even though the bank says there is NO difference) I went to every bank across town, and no one will cash it. We just got here, so we don't have a bank account. My wife is in the process of getting some cash through Western Union so we can pay these assh0les. Meanwhile, we're getting charged $85/hr as they are waiting outside now. - so far the tab is up to another $212.50 and climbing. :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

F THAT

For 85$ an hour I would have those Mother F'ers parading my **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED** around the front yard. no rest, keep moving a$$hole.

..movng companies all have the same scheme...

Next time rent a U-haul or Ryder. You can do it yourself alot cheaper and don't have to worry about somebody messing up your stuff.

I would show them how proud I am of my Second Amendment rights.

Man i'd get a jar of vasoline...it sounds like you're getting pounded in the a$$... but hey i've never run across a problem a .45 couldn't fix...

Yup. They were about 30 seconds away from being at the business end of my AR15.

It gets better yet. When they picked up my stuff, they arrived in a 20' UHaul-type truck. Stupid me, I assumed that was the type of vehicle that they were going to drop it off in. Our apartment complex is setup so that it would be kind of difficult for that truck to get in, but still possible. Well, they showed up in a big-azz semi. Crap. There was no WAY they were even going to get CLOSE to our apt. So the moving guy says, "Well, we're going to have to charge you $1 per hundred feet for each pound of stuff." (it was at least 500' to the apt.

So of course I responded with a "Kiss my a$$."

What ended up happening is they dropped the stuff right at the main enterance of the complex and I had to move all the sh!t MYSELF. My wife was able to help a little, but hardly any at all, because she had to watch our son. I moved all 3,500lbs of our stuff myself over 500'. Of course we're new to the area, and dont know anyone here, so it was all me. I haven't been this worn out since I was in the Corps.

Surprisingly, I'm not too pi$$ed off right now. I'm just happy that I have a bed to sleep on tonight, a couch to sit on, toys for my son, clean clothes to wear. (for the first time in two weeks.) My a$$ was getting real sore from sitting on the floor all the time. I'm sure my anus will heal just fine.

I think the only thing that is keeping me sane is that I am this close (*making tiny gap with thumb and forefinger*) to a CFI job up here and I am interviewing with SkyWest for a ramp-rat position. So SOMETHING has been going right......

From what I hear, you seem to only be able to find the fat chicks......

Thats for the info Marine, sorry you had to find out the hard way. I'm with justApilot call the BBB, let them know how this company treated you. This may keep them from doing to other's, what they did to you.

Did you sign a release before you had them load the items? If so there should have been a quote on that form which is upholdable by law. They may not charge over that quote, especially if they agreed to it and you signed it. If you did not sign anything before they loaded your belongings then it is theft, and they can be held criminally negligent. Read all of the paperwork you received, whether signed or not.

Honestly, I really dont remember. When I signed all the forms, I had 104 degree temperature - very, very sick. My wife packed up everything. There are a few things that ended up missing. So far the only thing broken were a couple a vases from our wedding. That was my wives fault though.

There's not much we can do now, they assclowns are already gone and have been paid.....

Did you move to Utah? Seriously though, I'm sorry to hear about your misfortune. I'm getting po'd just reading about it.

Sorry, "wife's" not "wives."

...I'm tired...

Some folks must just be a whole lot wealthier...those who can afford someone else to move their things for them. My guess is that I have more moves than a whole lot of folks here combined, and I've never paid or asked someone else to move for me. Rent a truck, do it yourself, save a boatload of money, be sure of what you've got...it's the only way to go.

I'll be doing it again here in a couple of weeks. I'll agree that it's tiring, but that's the norm for a move.

Marinegrunt, for future FYI...if you need anything in that neck of the woods, ask the local church. You don't need to be a member. You can ask at eight o-clock at night, and you'll be moved in by ten or eleven, with fifteen or twenty able bodies to help get you in the door. And they'll probably bring you dinner, too. It's not a freeloading event; it's the way things work there.
