I have a trip to TEB tomorrow and staying a couple days. What are the best hotels to stay at near Teterboro? We have rooms booked at the holiday inn express right now but would like some reviews on it. I've heard there are some real dumpy hotels out there and don't want to end up in one. Also would like one with easy access to train or bus stop for us to use to get into manhattan to see the sights. thanks

If you want easy access to a bus, stay at the Embassy Suites in Secacus. Bus stop is literally across the street, and it's about $3 each way to the Port Authority, last time I went.

No where! It's Teterboro are you insane? Seriously Embassy Suites Secaucus. The 320 bus stops in front of the hotel and it's 7 bucks round trip into the city. The bus goes to the Port Authority Bus station at Times Square and you can get a cab from there. They have a schedule at the front desk. Have fun!!

-Avoid the Holiday Inn Hasbrouck Heights. El Crappo for the most part. They DO have a van that will take you to a train that'll get you into Manhattan.

-Hilton Hasbrouck Heights... great.

-The Flexjet guys stay at a Homewood Suites down the road from the Holiday Inn mentioned above. I've heard only great things about that hotel from them while we were chit-chatting at Signature.

Good luck! Enjoy your stay!

Probably say good things about the Homewood because they used to stay at the crappy Holiday Inn Hasmat Heights!

Ended up staying at holiday inn express. Wasn't bad and there was a bus stop across the street. Most hotels where booked due to the power outages from the recent storm and the manhattan marathon. Had a good time checking out the sites. thanks for all the input. I'll definitely be booking rooms a little further ahead next time!
