Ive read many posts on here about the MU2 -- good and bad.

Who would you say is the best operator to work for that has the best training and mx?

Best operator and maint. would be Epps Aviation in Atlanta. they have 10 MU2's that they operate for the Fed Reserve bank up in the N. east and one in Atlanta. Great company to work for, but tough to get on with. I worked for them for 2yrs. Still a mom and pop operation that takes real good care of their people. As for training, I would have to say Reese Howell in Smyrna TN. has over 20k hours in the mitz, and Ron there is so knowlegeable on the TPE331's that Honeywell calls him for advice. Epps has always used Reese for their training in the MU2 since they have been operating them as far as I know.

Reece is definately the man when it comes to the MU2. I worked for him for a couple of years, and have flown with him in the Mitts. He definately knows that airplane!!

Thanks mtsu, ive heard all good things about this place, and after looking over the site I can see why! Reece sounds like the man .... 16,000 hours in an MU2, thats the man i would want teaching me ;)

Do they only provide training or do they hire pilots too?

What operators use them for training?

Thanks

What kind of money does Epps start of paying a MU2 driver? What are the skeds like? Thanks.

I have to second what Corpflunkie has to say. I never worked for Epps but was a vendor for them. And flew as a backup for them time to time. They sure seemed to treat people right. And never did I see them balk about any maintenance. Ever.

Reese Howel in Smyrna is definetly the man.
Howell enterprises is the name of his business with you schedule with them they can even pick you up in Nashville if you don't have a vehicle and put you in a hotel almost side by side with their school.
Very nice people.
