Attention all you 'Platinum For Life' types. I looked for a Marriott for an upcoming recurrent gig at Simuflight and got 70 properties in the Dallas area. So what is everyone's pick for best Marriott? I'll have a car, but I don't want to spend an hour in traffic every morning either.

Thx

Try the Marriot DFW South. Try to get the Concierge floor or access to it. Free eats every evening, presuming that you don't have late sims.

No. Marriott DFW North is closer to food and things to do. South is nice, but no where really close to eat. The North has like 3 resturants inside too. South only has the OVER priced "American Grill". If you want free internet, try the Courtyard Marriott North OR South. If your company pays for the 9.95/day internet then no worries!!

Almost forgot, Mondays at the the pizza place across the street from the SOUTH DFW Marriott, there is a bikini contest.....FYI

I have always stayed at the Marriott South, great hotel, nice looking staff too! A few exits south of the hotel near Six Flags and the Stadium there's a ton of restaurants to choose from, provided you have wheels of course.

Esparza's for dinner and drinks, ask the hotel staff.

Just be careful about the frozen margaritas there. They are very tasty but made with pure grain alcohol. Anymore than 2 of them and you might be walking funny.

I've always stayed at the Marriott South... Very nice... You will need a car to find good eats, though... as others have said, not much to eat within walking distance...

Marriott North hands down is a better property. (Stayed at both several times) North has nicer rooms, better bar (Sports Bar). AND it's closer to Cool River...No brainer...

I stay at the North Airport Marriott. JW Steak House on property, easy frontage road commute to Simuflite.

You can easily hit 90 on the frontage road IF you have a rental car. (With the rental car, maybe even in reverse!!)

With the North property there is a Subway right across the street, and good streets for jogging nearby (if that's your thing..)

Chocks

You never jogged a day in your life.......except maybe in the 'jogging simulator'.
