best fare to Bucharest ?

I flew Delta to Rome and Alitalia to Bucharest in December. I was non-rev and ID90(?) and the cost was about $75.00 round trip for taxes. This doesn't help unless you have pass benefits, but it's an idea of the non-negotiable costs you'll pay.

If youn don't mind my asking - why are you going to Bucharest?

Of course it all depends on where you're leaving from, when you're going, how long you're staying, etc. etc... you know the drill, I'm sure. I'm thinking Alitalia would be one of your cheaper fares to that part of the world but how about Austrian Airlines? G'luck!
