If I was in the Naval reserve which requires me to do one weekend a month and 2-3 weeks a year, will I have a difficult time finding a job at a regional, 135, or corporate? Maybe they would not hire me because I have to take off one weekend a month and once a year I have to go for 2-3 weeks training/drill.
They might see this as an inconvenience to the company. Any body out there in the reserves flying for a regional, 135, or corporate? Hired?
Thanks.

Aviator,
I cant speak for the regionals but Ive worked
for a couple of 135 operators and it has never
been a problem. I know a couple of pilots that
pulled weekend duty and the companies just
worked around the drill weekend. I myself served
in the Air Force Reserves(grunt) and never had a
problem. Most companies will be real cool about it.

Good luck,
Learguy
