First off, thank you in advance. Would someone be so kind as to post NBAA salary range, median, average, etc... for a BE400 co-captain position in the Southeast. Seeing as how I've been working for fractional peasant wages for the last two years I have no idea what to ask for. This is for an upcoming interview.

Thank you very much.

I would love to know also! I need to get out of the northeast really, really bad! I want to go because my wife doesn't!!! HAHA

Semper,

Thanks. This is for information to bring to an interview. Any hard #s would be much appreciated by all. Thanks and hope to return a favor.

I was looking for the same information about a year and a half ago. I tried using the ProPilot, AvCrew and NBAA numbers to develop an average, but my employer told me that wasn't specific enough to our area. He thought their numbers were too high. There aren't a lot of Beechjet operators in the Carolinas for comparison, so I polled the light jet operators in the Upstate of South Carolina.

My research showed the majority of professional corporate operators of light jets being paid in the range of $60 - 70,000. I found one department paid as high as $75k and one operator as low as $52k.

I can't give out company specifics, but I hope this is helpful. Good luck in your negotiations.

I swear just about every employer uses the line "Oh, those numbers are too high!!!"

I always got the "everyone lies on those surveys" line.
