Found this on the FLOPS board and it is simply great. Saved a copy and sending it to buds.

As a result of management’s proposed budget cuts FLOPS has developed a program to reduce the number of senior ranking/high pay pilots from its ranks. This program will go into affect 1 January 2005.

Under this new program, older pilots will be asked to go on early retirement, thus permitting the retention of the younger pilots who represent the future. Therefore, this program will phase out older pilots by the end of the end of the current fiscal year.

This initial phase of the program will be known as the Senior/pilot Late-Aged Program (SLAP). Pilots who are SLAPPED will be given the opportunity to look for jobs outside of FLOPS.. SLAPPED pilots can request a review of their personnel records before actual retirement takes place.

This phase of the program is called the Survey of Capabilities of Retired Early Workers (SCREW). All pilots who have been SLAPPED or SCREWED may file an appeal with their chain of command with final authority at the PM level. This is called the Study by Higher Authority Following Termination (SHAFT).

Under the terms of the new policy, a pilot may be SLAPPED once, SCREWED
twice, but may be SHAFTED as many times as FLOPS deems appropriate.

If a pilot follows the above procedures, he/she will be entitled to get HERPES (Half Earnings for Retired Personnel's Early Severance) or CLAP(Combined Lump-sum assistance Payment), unless he/she already has AIDS(Additional Income From Dependents or Spouse).

As HERPES and CLAP are considered benefit plans, any pilot who has received HERPES or CLAP will no longer be SLAPPED or SCREWED by FLOPS.

The management of FLOPS wishes to assure the younger pilots who remain onboard that FLOPS will continue its policy of training through our Special
High Intensity Training (SHlT). The management at FLOPS takes pride in the amount of SHlT our pilots receive. We have given our pilots more SHlT than
any other company. If any pilot feels they do not receive enough SHlT by OCC etc., see your immediate supervisor.

YOUR SUPERVISOR IS SPECIALLY TRAINED TO MAKE SURE YOU RECEIVE ALL THE SHlT YOU CAN STAND.
