PILOT, FLIGHT OPERATIONS, FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT, CORPORATE RESOURCES. WORK SITE: AIRPORT. The salary range is $44,075.20 min., $61,172.80 mid., $78,249.60 max. DATE OPENED: 05/15/03. This is a professional dual rated pilot position. It involves piloting the District's fixed and rotary wing aircraft to support District missions and to provide timely air transportation to District personnel. This position requires evening, weekend, and holiday duty. A minimum of 5,000 hours total flight time, including 1,000 hours pilot-in-command time in turbine multi-engine fixed wing aircraft, of which, 500 hours pilot-in-command time flying Beechcraft King Air 200 series, and 3,000 hours pilot in command time flying turbine helicopters. Must also possess a current FAA second class medical certificate. High school diploma, G.E.D. equivalent, or vocational school. Possession of the following licenses and ratings: ATP or Commercial/Instrument-Airplane, Multi-Engine Land, Rotorcraft/ Helicopter. surprised they don't want a PHD as well... I don't know of any pilots who meet this criteria and I know quite a few...

sounds like they want an ex-Army helo pilot that lucked into one of the few fixed wing slots ;)

Too bad I only have 1,000 turbine helo hours.

I'm gonna be furloghed from ACA soon and could use the income.
