Acadian Ambulance of Lafayette, LA is in need of one BE20 PIC and one LR35 PIC. Check out the company at www.acadian.com

Nice city, good growing company. I've been here 6 months and so far I'm home 90% of the time. The pay is fair given the amount of time I sit at home and play with the kids. PM for details if interested.

By the way... don't let Lafayette scare you. "Deliverence" was filmed in Georgia and as long as you don't steal pirou's Cajuns won't shoot at you.

Start pay is negotiable based on experience in type. Schedule is 8 on 4 off. I fly on average 5 days of my 8 on and some overtime is available on days off. Most trips are out and back with few overnights, and most of those are milk runs... meaning 30 minutes to 1 hr flts, drop and return home. As I said I'm home quite a bit for an airplane gig. Like every job it's not perfect but it's a good place to spend a few years.

Yeah but again......how much does it pay?

Sarcasm doesn't evade the question...what does it pay?

Haggles means that one can expect the thirty thousand dollar range, or the hundred thousand dollar range? How tight is the company, and how poor a job is it if one can't answer the question in the first place?

www.acadian.com Apply and see. Avbug... my guess is that they wouldn't want you and you wouldn't take the offer.

So what you're saying is you're still incapable, or unwilling, to answer the question that posters put forward to you. I don't care how much it pays, nor do I intend to apply.

Never the less, I do highly value the insight of nolfie the flight nurse chauffer in determining my suitability for the job. You can't offer meaningful information, even when asked directly, are sarcastic in your responses, and now insulting, too. You stand as a fine representative of your firm. Anybody would be proud to work with someone like you.

Is the patient breathing, nurse?

Why don't you ask him and find out?

It was a simple question, is the patient breathing?

He probably wouldn't want to breathe the same air as you, and you probably aren't worthy to breathe his air.

But is the patient breathing?

Question answered, nolfie...the job's not worth giving the time of day. Next...

Uh, do you think! And after meeting him they would not extend a job offer, so him turning it down would not be an option.

I think what Noli is saying is that everybody gets something different based on their level of experience. A Learjet guy with 2,000 hours in type, current school, and a letter in the aircraft can probably get a little more than a guy who has been riding around in the left seat at a 91 company for 250 hours. It also doesn't sound like he wants to tell you what he is making, so get over it! I would say it is safe to say that he is making somewhere between $30K and $50K if he is a BE20 PIC. Probably safe to say he is making between $40K and $70K if he is an LJ PIC. Would that answer have been good enough for you guys? I doubt it! Perhaps he is just FOing it and can't really say what Captains make. A lot of companies want you to keep what you make to yourself. It is not appropriate conversation and can cause some serious morale problems once folks know what others make. So apply and find out or just zip it.

Thanks... well said... wish I had the words before. Might have saved ABVUG some heartache and heartburn.
