BBJs and 727s at VNY

Every time I fly into VNY I see a pretty good number of BBJs and an occasional 727 on the field. Last time I saw a Netjets BBJ and a yellow and black BBJ sitting over near Clay Lacy's FBO.

How many BBJs/727s are based on the field? Are there enough large hangers to accomodate them? I believe the yellow and black BBJ is up for sale at the moment. Anyone know much about who flies that particular BBJ - some of Clay's pilots?

Given LA's penchant for "excess" you would expect to see a lot of BBJs at VNY, BUR, SNA and LGB. Anyone know how many BBJs are based in the area?

Don't think you will see any BBJ's at SNA simply because the SNA airport authorities will not let them land their. Sorta like TEB.

Even with the 737s, Airbuses and 757s already flying there? That doesn't make much sense to me... What about VNY - how many are based there and who flies the yellow and black version over by Clay Lacy?
