I was wondering if any of you guys had any information regarding procedures for shortfield T/O's and landings in a Baron C-55 or anything close? Thanks in advance.

I found this for a BE-55B model:

SHORT FIELD TAKEOFF
1. Flaps 20°
2. Brakes Hold
3. Throttles Full OPEN
4. Engine Instruments Check (RPM 2625)
5. Rotate @ 80 KIAS
6. Liftoff/Climb @ 90 KIAS
7. Brakes Apply Momentarily
8. Gear UP @ Safe Altitude
9. Once clear of obstacles accelerate to 107 KIAS. Retract flaps SLOWLY

Test it on a long runway first to make sure it will work. I'll also ask my instructor the next time I see him (probably tomorrow) since it's been a year since I flew a Baron :(

This is for the BE58:

1. Hold Brakes
2. Full Power
3. Rotate at 81 KIAS
4. Hold 86 KIAS until clear of obstacle, then pitch for 100 KIAS (Vyse)
5. At 500' AGL, set climb power (25"/2500)
6. Accelerate to 130 KIAS for cruise climb

I also have a checklist for BE55B that lists the following speeds:

Short Field
Vr: 80
Liftoff/Climb: 90 / 10
Flaps: 20°/0°

Hope this helps.
