Anyone have hotel and/or what to do info on Barcelona? Leaving in about three weeks and I'm at a loss for info. No luck on NBAA archives and I don't trust Universals hotel recommendations anymore.
Thanks!!!!!!!!

Yo R

I hear try the Ritz-Carlton. Down close to the water, near the Ramblas. Nice but not over-snooty.

I THINK you can do it for under 300/night - if thats the range you were looking in.

I have not stayed there, this info from our other crews..

you're gettin' around these days!

Barcelona is a great town- but expensive. We used to stay at the Best Western Hotel Regina which was OK but we now stay at the Hotel Constanza, it's small but good value.
As far as things to do, if you've never been to Barcelona the Picasso museum is a must but be prepared for lines.
Nightlife is varied but we enjoy La Paloma a cool Latin type club, but if your lokking for the big clubs try Razzamatazz.
Of course, the last time I was there I spent 6 hrs at the hotel bar and didn't go out but, hey who needs culture when you've got Jim Beam?

The Ritz Carlton, called the Hotel Arts, is fantastic, I've only been there for a drink, but the rooms are 500+ a night I think and that leaves no money left for....well.....drinks.

Drinks here in Europe are hugely expensive, but I've always considered them a necessity not a luxury. Now, tell me more about this wagon thing? Do you need to be typed?

There is a Hilton there that I stayed at, if you are an Honors member and can get to the concierge the booze is free.

Why the jeans and marlboro reds you ask?

To buy more booze of course.

Bought a lot of vodka in sweden on American cigs
